Mount Kosciuszko is a mountain located in the Snowy Mountains of Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales. With a height of 2,228m (7,310ft) above sea level, it is the highest mountain on the Australian continent (i.e., not including its external territories) and is one of the two mountains, the other being Carstensz Pyramid, with the highest summit in Australasia.
